Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy helps people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.
We currently have a number of physiotherapists who work across our sites at Manchester, Bury, Sale and our flagship site in Hale Cheshire.
Our physiotherapists work across a variety of disciplines including elite sports, spinal injury, paediatrics and women's health. We currently perform nearly one thousand treatments a month across our three clinics.
We are registered with most of the private insurance companies including BUPA, AXA, WPA, AVIVA etc. The cost of an appointment ranges from £38 to £75 per half an hour depending on their experience and expertise. We prefer your initial consultation to usually be a minimum of 45 minutes in order for us to take a full history and for you to get both treatment and an exercise plan.
Our pricing structure in Hale, Sale, and Manchester gives you an option to select a Junior Physio, Senior Physio or a Consultant Physio who has had extensive experience in various specialities and worked in varied settings such as other private clinics or high-end sports teams.

Podiatry/Chiropody/Nail Surgery
Our consulting Podiatrist offers routine podiatry care for common foot problems such as:
Corns
Callus Removal
Ingrown Toenail
Orthotics
Ingrowing toenails can be very painful stemming from faulty cutting, sport or trauma and they can lead to persistent infection requiring treatment with antibiotics. We are also able offer nail surgery for ingrowing toenails.
Sports Therapy and Massage
Sports therapy incorporates a wide range of treatment methods and techniques, in addition to sports massage. Sports therapy can be utilised to manage a painful injury, to help improve sporting performance, or to aid in return to sport following an injury.
There are a number of techniques that are used in daily practice by sports therapists, which most commonly include:
Sports massage
Joint mobilisation and stretching
A range of other myofascial techniques
Supportive sports taping
Kinesio-taping
it's important to note that you don't have to be in to sport or have a sport injury to have Sports Therapy treatment. Non-sports people might see a Sports Therapist for relief from muscular pain caused by injury, poor posture or repetitive strain.
Biomechanics - Gait Analysis
A gait analysis is a method used to assess the way we walk and, when required, run and can highlight if there are any abnormalities or even more importantly, identify clues to place you on an appropriate treatment plan. Problems with the way you walk or run can be caused by muscular imbalance or a structural problem in your foot, ankle, leg or lower back. we use the OptoGait 2D infrared analysis system to give real time information for walking, running and jump tests that can be viewed immediately by our consulting podiatrist who can then explain in detail the findings and justify the next stage of treatment.
